mbna letter for ppi

My husband got a letter from mbna (the ppi provider) saying that they want to make us aware that he may of been misold his PPI for a Virgin credit card we have.
They have given us a questionaire to fill in , why are they contacting us , is it normal practise to contact people that may of been misold?
The thing is , we cant remember what we were told or not told. However as my husband was a company director Im sure from what Ive read that means the PPI would of been useless? Also he had serious health issues when taking out the insurance too

Hi, we had the same letter in January. Filled it in a few weeks later. I would say 4 weeks later we were over £4 grand better off . Fill in the questionnaire, send it off and wait. Not to long hopefully.0
