Postive anecdotal - car insurance cancellation

I have just cancelled my FILs car insurance. He was cancelling due to age and giving up driving on his 85th birthday.
He received a pro-rata refund including add-ons (legal cover and guaranteed car hire) and the admin fee was waived without a kerfuffle when we requested it and explained the circumstances.
They kept their promises, did what they said when they would do it.
The company - Direct Line.
I have taken the car and decided to take my new policy with DL partly because of this good service (and a £50 quidco offer).
No connection, just thought it would be nice to have a positive anecdotal for a change.
