Places to stop on the way to Dundee

I am travelling by car to Dundee at the weekend. I will be leaving from probably Newcastle at around 6am.
Has anyone got any recommendations for a nice place to have breakfast, probably north of Berwick.
I would also like to see if I can find a farm shop on the way to Dundee that I can buy some really nice haggis from and possibly some Dundee cake.

Tricky without knowing the route, will you cross the forth Bridge? do you want to stop before this?0

You don't always get the best haggis at a farm shop, there is a butcher on the High St in Cowdenbeath that does a better haggis than you will get in most farm shops.
As for Dundee Cake, I would suggest getting that in Nicolls Bakery in Dundee (Byron Street)
If you are intent on visiting a farm shop then it depends on which way you are travelling, Ardross shop just outside Elie is one of the better ones with a huge range, Muddy Boots at Balmalcolm is growing in reputation, Loch Leven's Larder is OK and Jamesfield Farm shop at Abernethy is supposed to be organic but I have heard stories.0 -
For breakfast hang on till you get near North Berwick and slip off the main road to there. Lots of places to eat brekkie and it's a lovely little town by the Forth. As for farm shops, if you're driving up the M90 you don't pass much.If you drive to Dundee from Kinross (leave the M90 at junction 6) on the St Andrews road (A91) there are a few places to stop ( maybe at the Deer Centre where you could get venison toohttp://www.tsdc.co.uk/location.html) or The Pillars of Hercules Organic Farm Shop http://www.pillars.co.uk/Contact.htmnear Falkland ( just off the St Andrews road). Then you get to approach Dundee across the Tay Bridge if you take this route.Grocery challenge October: £228.28/£250.00 NSD 4 ( not completed)
Grocery challenge November : £291.65/300.00 NSD 10
Grocery challenge December : £0/240.00 NSD0
