Just for one night. Needs to be family friendly. We have two children DD, 14 and DS, 12, so a family suite or adjoining rooms.
Swimming pool would be good.
And most importantly must be posh enough for sis and bil

Which part of Warwick do you need? Town centre, access to M40, etc? Also an idea of budget? We have a Travelodge right in the very middle of Leamington Spa now so good if you all want to catch a bite to eat (Leamington better than Warwick for places to eat) and as you may know, Warwick and Leamington run into one another and if its Motorway access you want, it makes not a blind bit of difference whether you stay in Warwick or Leam. If you're going to the Castle, thats different. Post back here some more details and I'll offer you some specific suggestions.:rotfl:0

Chesford Grange has a pool but is outskirts of Leamington. Nice hotels in Stratford.
On travelzoo this week Charlcote looked v posh and good value £89/nt for the room and breakfast if you had two nights and £99 per room if you had one night. Charlcote is between Warwick and Stratford and looks lovely.0 -
Gosh well.... if money is no object (this IS a money saving site you know :rotfl: ) then try Ardencote manor BetweenWarwick and Claverdon. There's a Hilton virtually on the Longbridge roundabout (junction of M40 and A46) but they charge ridiculous amounts for parking so I've ceased patronising them on principle!. Chesford grange on the Kenilworth Road out of Leamington (heading for the A46 to Coventry) is good, they have a nice conservatory as a dining room. Last time I was there the service was excellent. (Rare occurrence in itself). The Ardencote is a Country Club and Spa by the way! Would definitely impress "posh" sis!!:T There is also the Glebe at Barford about 5 miles outside Warwick. All should be on internet. If you wanna know some more, post back. Enjoy.:D0

Oh yes- if you REALLY REALLY want to impress sis then look at Nailcote Manor. About 6 miles from Kenilworth, (about 10 from Warwick) and VERRRRY posh!0

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Mallory Court. "The only Michelin starred restaurant in the whole of Warwickshire!"0
-
Mallory Court is def a possibility but not the easiest of places to find! Is on a little back road between the south side of Leam and the Fosse way. Bit snooty! Personally I like good service but without the attitude! Still it fits all your other criteria. Otherwise, from what you've said I'd def go for Ardencote or Nailcote or mallory Court. You'll have a great time in any I'm sure. Enjoy!
By the way, there's a FABULOUS new Thai restaurant in Regent Street in Leam with superb food, exquisite surroundings - palatial- and service that beats most others I've experienced in the last 10 years! Sorry can't bring the name to mind but its in the bit of Regent street that sits BETWEEN The Parade and Dale Street. :T0 -
By the way, did you mean that you like an ODD treat???? How odd, precisely?

I guess you mean the Thai Elephant...0 -
No I don't actually. This one just opened late last year and is on the opposite side of the road to the Thai Elephant, much much more modern, has a water wall inside and the most funky hand dryers in the loos you can imagine!! Am going into town shortly so will drive down regent Street and note the name! Thanks anyway LesD. Have you ever tried the Thai Elephant? Any good?:D0

Just checked on a few search sites to see if I could find my missing restaurant but no show! Weird! Another one not being picked up by a search is "The Art Kitchen" in Warwick. Also Thai, also excellent, both food and service and yet not appeasring in search results. Right oh all, hold your breath for a couple of hours til I go do my shopping and find this name! See you...:eek:0
