Cheap, Online car insurance

Hi, Just received my car insurance renewal quote from ecar insurance, £137 fully Comp with breakdown insurance included (even home start). If you are not worried by doing everything online instead of spending ages talking on the phone with some call centre bod, give them a try. Their website is https://www.ecarinsurance.co.uk and they are based in Gibraltar, with an office in Bristol.

p.s. They now insure motorbikes as well.

Lucky you ! I love it when people get a good deal

But jeeps. I just tried them and they're over £100 more expensive than my current insurers, the AA, on a 5 y/o Volvo. How do you contact the breakdown people if they do everything online ?

I'm with ecar too, they do have an English call centre officey place... and there's a freephone number for breakdown and they send a local breakdown recovery round as I found out once
