using an overdraft

If someone uses an overdraft briefly ie minutes will it still be calculated on a daily basis its with natwest.

i know they have a policy whereby if money is in your account by 330pm they don't charge you or am i mistaken ? it was only used for 5 minutes as i transfered from the wrong account using the ipad.

for clarification i was well within my OD limit even with the transfer

    If its Lloydstsb you have up until 3.30pm to fund the account with cleared funds. However if you go overdrawn after 3.30pm even for a few minutes
    you will be charged a fee and interest.

    I guess you didn't read the bit where the OP said it was with Natwest did you?

    So how was this even relevant to a Natwest Overdraft?

    I'd stick my head out and say you wouldn't be charged, but I might be wrong.

    However, I know they have a free text and email service which basically says something like "If you credit your account by X, you will not be charged any fees.", so they will allow you some grace period, but I don't know what it is.

    The NatWest grace period is 14.30 even though the act now alerts say its 12.00 noon.

    I know with Natwest in the past as long as you credit the account by 12 noon the fees are not applied, but havent experienced this issue recently, most recently about a year ago.

    it was around 10am and was sent back 5 minutes later i'll just see what appears on my statement i've never gone into my natwest OD so i'm not sure what the charges will be on my account. The first 100 pound is interest(for now) it'll be pennies i assume. thanks for the replies

    You have until 12pm I believe. I managed to go £780 into an unwarranted overdraft yesterday morning and was told I was ok as I funded the account "in time" according to the call centre.
