Is there any kind of credit card that provides basic medical insurance cover for an 84 year old if they use it to book their flights?

Unlikely credit cards as even the AmEx Platinum cuts out at 70.
Some bank accounts do cover over 70s for an additional fee or for free but depending on how far in advance your booking it may be more expensive paying the monthly fees -v- actually buying standalone insurance0
