i am using a wireless keyboard which i bought from ebuyer 6 months ago. at the begining no problems but for the last 2 months it has been driving me mad. the problem is i cant type the same letter twice without pressing another key inbetween. for example the word between i have to press e then insert or numlock to type the other e otherwise i will get only one e ad if i press constantly i will get probably the letter repeated 10 times. i tried every thing to no avail.. do you think i need to buy another one or is it something simple i am missing.

Have you tried new batteries?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

Try changing the settings for your keyboard in control panel, sounds like you have it set up to ignore similar keystrokes in a certain amount of time.0

thank you both for the reply...the batteries are new and i changed setting but it did not help. the other annoying thing is wen i press the backward key to delete a letter it does not work untill i press another key before andif i press it hard it will delete the whole line i typed. it really takes me ages to type few words with this damn keyboard0

Have you updated the keyboard driver? Checked the 'reviews' under the keyboard on ebuyer? As there are usually people who have had similar issues but resolved them posting in there. Alternatively, ebuyer have their own forums, perhaps a post in there might help http://forums.ebuyer.com/ if not, contact ebuyer via their 'support' number and tell them you'd like to get a replacement for their defective product. Or if it's manufactured by the likes of Microsoft, Logitech et al, contact them and have them swap out the defective keyboard with a working version.
Also, when making posts in here it's advisable to give a manufacturer\model number to such things as this. As problems with wireless keyboards is a little bit too generic.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0
