Any ideas how I can give someone living in Switzerland access to £1100 as cheaply as possible ?
I spoke to my bank Nationwide & they will charge £25 for an IBAN transfer
Any cheaper methods around maybe using something like paypal or its competitors ? - for example I seem to recall you can send personal payments to people via paypal without incurring fees ? - but is their a limit to the amount
Also I guess there are currency conversion charges to consider
edit just found this link

If anybody has used these services then LMK - looking like either post office or transferwise at the moment

I've used http://www.currencyfair.com/
for payments to Australia and The Netherlands, into other people's bank accounts. Simple, v cheap, 'does what it says on the tin'.The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0
