That's how I started out, cleaning hotel rooms, got certificates and everything, I know everything you could possible know about dirt, grit, dust and litter and the differences between them all and how to remove all sorts of substances, depending on whether they are oil based, plant based, fatty etc etc. I even know the most ergonomically correct and most efficient way to clean a hotel room, there is a real science to it. Anyway I digress, my first VQ led to an NC, a degree and now many years later a Masters Degree (not I might add in cleaning). Cleaning is hard work, hard work and education is the key to success IMHO, do both at once and it's a great start to a working life.

Sorry, my advice about your situation, move on quickly, lots of similar jobs around and you would get nowhere with this company. Also be very gracious and rise about the pettyness, it is the supervisor who is being small don't descend to her level.
