Theme Park Tickets with Tesco clubcard vouchers

I would like to visit Drayton Manor Theme Park to take my son to Thomas Land.

The adult tickets are £35.00 each but 2 of my friends kindly exchanged their Tesco clubcard couchers for tokens (£8.50 each) however now I have them printed I have read the fine print and it states the token can only be used by the name on the printout and ID will be required. The printout is scanned upon entry as it has a barcode.

My question is has anyone ever tried to use these tokens not in their name successfully at any theme parks? I'm just wondering how thorough they are with checking, I don’t want to chance it then have to pay £70 for my partner and I on the day, as we won't actually be going on the rides just maybe the small ones with my son and it is a lot of money.

I recently used some Tesco vouchers to get two tokens for entry into Thorpe park.
At the ticket window the girl just put it through, I did not need to show any ID or anything. Just got the tokens swapped for entry tickets.

If you do go to DM you have to do Apocalypse at least once!

Brilliant thank you hopefully we're as lucky then and don't get a manager or something Can only try.

My son is only 2 so that would mean us going on rides seperatley. I do love theme park rides though, I might need to have a sneaky go:)
