Poor credit, looking for a joint savings account

Hello

I have recently been turned down to convert one of my Co-op cashminder account into a joint account for me and my partner, due to poor credit rating.

Has anyone has any ideas who will accept us, The amount is over £10,000 and we would prefer to have easy access.

I know Barclays, Nationwide, Santander won't accept me, due to my DMP.

Thank you

Susanna

There is no credit check for savings accounts. They just verify your identity but don't look at your debts when you apply for a savings account.

If you get turned down for a savings account, it would be because there are discrepancies between your personal data on your application form and on the CRA files, and they might not be able to find you on the Electoral Roll. All easily verified and corrected.
