Anybody else had similar thing happen?
I sent an sar request to barclaycard in December 2012 and they banked it last week? does this mean i may be getting an offer letter soon?
I have had all of the information from them I think, sent loads of letters off so will have to check my ppi file.

You won't get an offer letter on the back of a Subject Access Request (SAR)!does this mean i may be getting an offer letter soon?
Did you complain that your PPI (if you had it) was mis-sold? Did you have valid complaint reasons?
If not, why would the Bank be sending you an "offer"?0 -
I also sent them a SAR request in December last year and they banked the cheque last week (Friday I think)."The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money"0

It doesn't matter how long it takes them to bank a cheque for a SAR, you'll only get a further response if you've subsequently made a valid complaint. There is no point simply establishing that you had PPI (if you did), it needs to have been mis-sold to you in order for it to be refunded.I also sent them a SAR request in December last year and they banked the cheque last week (Friday I think).0 -

I was only responding to the OP to let him (or her) know that they seem to just bank the cheques in batches, regardless of the outcome.
I got over £8k from them thanks to that SAR so I have no problems with them banking the £10 cheque a few months late :T"The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money"0 -
