Deposits from Rental properties

Hi

I am having a real job getting my desposit back from Blundells and Country wide lettings. I moved out of the flat on 29th April because of noise disturbances and antisocial behaviour by neighbours and the fact that they tried to charge me for an admin fee i was completely unaware of at the time of renting initially. since then they keep fobbing me off about why they cant get it back to me. I am making all the phone calls to them and they are not returning my calls, and when i finally got hold of someone they said the full deposit could not be returned due to cleaning issues because there was dust on window ledges. i had been moved out 3 weeks before they decided to send the inspector round to view the state of the property and they are not getting back to me about any of my questions. No they are telling me they cannot get hold of the landlord, although i personally dont believe they have tried. Where can i go for help?

What deposit protection scheme is your deposit with? Your prescribed information should tell you how to claim your deposit in the event of a dispute with the LL.
