25 year guarantee on cavity wall insulation - any experience of getting repairs done?

I do not know if "in my home" is the correct forum for this, but this is my experience.

I had beads pumped into the cavity walls last year. A very stressful experience with a suspect installation crew. I was left with a mess and a partially completed job.

After challenging the company they returned to do the areas they had missed. They re-drilled the back and both sides of the house. Upstairs they drilled three walls in two bedrooms. New insulation was pumped into all these drill holes to replace the insulation that had originally been missed.

On the original visit they broke a roof tile and also did an unsatisfactory job of pointing the drilled holes. They did return to rectify this... and broke more tiles. They then arranged an inspection... and broke another tile. They returned for repairs...and caused more damage.

The re-pointing remains incomplete..

Now there is rainwater coming through the insulated wall and into the roofspace. Fortunately the ceilings have not collapsed.

The installers have said go to the 25 year guarantee company - CIGA - - and get them to do a report.

I am not here to knock the installers - they are one of the big national companies. But it has also become apparent that the company has no procedures and quality manual, plus no procedures for dealing with customer care. In spite of this they are going after the Green Deal market - perhaps looking for other innocent consumers that they can take advantage of?

My questions to fellow forum users are;
1 Are my experiences normal?
2 Does anyone have experience of dealing with CIGA? Will I receive a fair hearing or are they a worthless organisation that is funded by, and represents, the installers?
3 Should this post be a warning to those thinking about the Green Deal?
