Ending Tenacy Earlier

I took out a tenacy agreement with 2 other people back in November. I work aboard alot so the agreement was I would only pay rent when I was living at the house.
Part of the tenacy was I could end it early in july, after 7 months of the 12 month contract. I am now told that in July I have to pay £100 to have the other two tenants re-referenced because they wish to remain in the flat. Can they do that?
Another concern is I foolishly paid the deposit to one of the tenants who then paid it too the landlord. Now they are simply making excuses for not being able to pay me my deposit. They are both high earners and can quite easily pay back the 600 they owe me. Is there any route I can take to get my money back
