DLA mobility tax?

Hi can any one tell me how I go about getting the tax disc for my car?
I am in receipt of HRM and have my own car which is due to be taxed at the end of June, I keep getting letters from DLA saying I can get a tax disc but is it a case of just walking in to a post office and getting the tax disc or do I have to do some thing else first?
Many thanks.

Put the letters > VED < in the search box and hit the return button, read the posts about VED, then come back here and ask questions. Do you have an in force DLA404 / WPA0442 or MHS330 paper certificate ?. They are no longer used, you need to apply for a new certificate from the Disability Benefits Unit on 0845 712 3456.
You can get the disk direct on the internet, the Post Office or your local DVLA office. Whichever you use you will need an 'in force' certificate number to get your new tax disk. If you still have an old DLA404 certificate that is still 'in date' you can continue to use the certificate DLA404 at the Post Office.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion.
