Won't the fibers infiltrate the mascara?0

Hi thehappybutterfly,
On your recommendation in this thread I ordered some divaderme from Amazon (£7.38 delivered). It arrived today and is amazing stuff. It has made such a difference to my lashes.
Thank you so much.

Oh I'm so pleased I was able to help! But £7.38? I was charged about £25 at my local beauty salon. I must investigate. I hope I wasn't ripped off.0 -

I hope not, this is what I bought. Although it shows a brush in the pic it wasn't supplied with a brush.

It certainly looks the same although mine did come with a (very expensive?) brush!
Devil - yes, sort of. The fibres provide a 'key' for the mascara to stick to. It just builds up volume and length. When you apply the fibres, you'll see they cling to the tips of your lashes too. You do need to apply the fibres to a wet mascara so they stick properly. I've used a waxy formula before and they went clumpy. If I can, I'll try and take a couple of extreme close-up pics tomorrow, before and after, and post them up.0 -

Possibly, I hadn't thought about that. I've only tried it today and I am really happy with it. I suppose that time will tell if it clogs up my mascara.

It's never clogged up my mascara. If you leave the fibres to dry a bit after applying, then sort of 'roll' your mascara brush over your lashes then apply as normal this seems to not dislodge the fibres.
Am I making sense?

Ok. So how do you know if a mascara is water based?0

It's a bit hit and miss really. The best one I've used was Lancôme Virtuose. I'll try and think of some of the mascaras I've used that take ages to dry - that's a good indication. Although the fibres are working well with the Rimmel Accelarator I'm using just now.0 -
Wow..very impressive
Might have to take a risk, although still quite wary because I wear contact lenses.0
