Brilliant - I will have to try this.
I've always fancied trying it, but probably will run :-(
Only bourjois clubbing waterproof works for me.0 -
Another vote for Benefit's They're Real here! I have the same problem as you OP and I've been using this product for about a year now with great results. I don't wear eye make-up every day so one full-sized tube lasts me about 3 months, bargain at £18-ish.

I have tried Lancome Hypnose, Benefit's They're Real but my favourite by far is just a Maybelline one!! Rocket Volum' Express in a blue tube with pink writing. It's amazing!:A0

I've used Bourjois Volume Clubbing for years now and it's the only mascara I've found that actually does what I want it to... Makes my lashes look much longer and thicker!!Weight Loss3lb Lost32lb To Go:xmassmile 8 Week Christmas Cracker SW Challenge :xmassmile3lb/12lb0

I watched a youtube review on Benefit "they're real" mascara and it appears that you get the best results by applying it in a certain way. Not sure how true that is tho'.0

I've been thinking about you and your lashes 'devil! As I said earlier in the thread, I have short skimpy blond lashes. The last couple of days my eyelash routine has been:
Curl with bog standard lash curlers
apply a layer of Rimmel Lash Accelerator in extreme black
Apply a generous layer of Divaderme Lash Extender and leave for a couple of minutes (while I make a cup of tea!)
Apply a layer of Boots No7 Extravagant Volume in black
Drink tea
I too wear lenses and I've not had any problems with the fibres getting in my eyes. My friends have remarked on my lashes and thought I'd gone for extensions!
The other thing I thought about for you was maybe something from an Asian make up range? I know lots of people of Far Eastern origin who have very short, very straight lashes. Have a look on Fleabay - there's a huge range on there like Holika, Missha etc.0 -

Also, does this mascara come in waterproof?
Sorry - just seen this.
Usually get the navy one because that is the normal colour packaging (well that's what my full size ones came in). I have had different colours though (white & gold) and they have been exactly the same.
I have never looked about the waterproof version, sorry.0 -
thehappybutterfly wrote: »what about trying something like this It's a bottle of black fibres which you brush onto freshly mascaraed lashes and thickens and lengthens your lashes. It's best to use a wet mascara not a waxy one. It's quite pricey (I think I paid £25) but it lasts forever. I have short skimpy blond lashes so I use mascara every day!
Hi thehappybutterfly,
On your recommendation in this thread I ordered some divaderme from Amazon (£7.38 delivered). It arrived today and is amazing stuff. It has made such a difference to my lashes.
Thank you so much.
