Neighbours landlord

Hi,
Having problems with tenants next door trying to argue with us over land boundaries, claiming there is a shared footpath on our land. No mention of this in our deeds, no right of way through our land brought up by solicitors.
Told them it is between us and their landlord.
We've been here 8yrs, they been renting 1yr moved in few months after landlord bought house.
Would be happy to discuss it with their landlord and move fence if boundary really is incorrect, but have no contact details for him.
Is there any way can get contact details without going through neighbours? They were freindly before this issue.
TIA

Hi
You should be able to get it from the Land Registry website -will cost you £3 to get a report.0 -
I now have the landlord's name and mortgage company but no contact details.
His address is the same as the property we have the dispute with.
I've tried googling him to see if he advertised landlord services online.
Any thoughts on my next step?Sealed Pot Challenge 2011 #11480 -
write to the landlord at next doors address
was it let via an agent ,they may have contact details"Do not regret growing older, it's a privilege denied to many"0 -
Thanks, I dont trust the neighbour not to open the letter or even pass it on. Was going to just put on letter please contact me, but if not passed on dont know how can contact him.
Dont know if its through a letting agent or not, didnt know it was rented out till they moved in.Sealed Pot Challenge 2011 #11480 -
Why are you wasting your time. Tell neighbours its nothing to do with them and if they have a problem to take it up with their landlord0

Get a big vicious animal and chain it up on the disputed land.

Supersoaker water pistol?
Be careful though: Almost a decade ago my mum's partner detested the neighbour's cat to an irrational degree and after someone advised him to shoot it with a water pistol "until it learned", he went rather overboard and bought a really powerful pump action one.
A nice sunny day came where he spotted the cat on the fence, got outraged and fetched his water cannon. He pumped it up to full strength and blasted the poor moggy with it. The cat became an airborne ball of claws which landed on the bare back of the unseen neighbour, who had taken advantage of the nice weather to do some gardening. The cat took out its frustrations on said bare back.
Neighbours then marched around to my mother's house to present a clawed and bleeding back; partner wasn't man enough to face the man, so left my mother to issue abject apologies. The rift has never healed.
It did keep the cat away though to be honest.0 -
I wouldn't even discuss this with your neighbour. Tell them to ask their landlord to contact you and that's it.0

Thanks all.
She has tried to discuss this every day since last Weds, even telling me what other residents think and I have been using broken record technique 'get your landlord to contact me and I will discuss it with him'.
Unfortunately they are the pig-headed type who continually trespass on our land as its 'their right'. (There is a gate at the end of the fence near the houses). Rather than going through their landlord they seemed to want to bully us. I've a feeling that they have been set right by their landlord or too scared to raise it with him as they have managed to use their drive to walk on and off their property today.
I phoned mortgage company on Land Registry info and they have agreed to send a letter saying I want him to contact me and included my details. I am going to also send a letter addressed to landlord next door as advised by Old Git. If they do open it they will know I'm contacting him by other means also.Sealed Pot Challenge 2011 #11480
