Praise for Asda and N/wide BS (You just can't beat the CEO email escalation) !

Options
Complained via email to CEOs at ASDA and N/wide Building Society :

ASDA...Selling wine with a competition ticket that was out-of-date. Asda sent me a £10 gift card so I got the wine effectively for free and am £5 in profit.

N/wide BS...Problems closing one of my accounts. Credited my account with an extra £25 before closing it as compensation.

You just can beat escalating via email to CEOs ;):rotfl:!!

Now where are Gordis and Snowybits;) ?

With or without escalation (which rarely actually goes to the CEO) both your above items come within the terms of the 'standards of service' published by the companies you mention.

When you are done moaning remember that there are people who would love to have your standard of living!

I'm not sure companies deserve praise if you have to escalate a complaint to the CEO!

Not sure about Gordy but Freddie Snowbits was PPR a while ago, though I expect he's here under another name ;)
  • But this method of complaining would be flawed if everyone did it. The CEO in most cases won't have read it someone else would have a "director" of something or other. Then if every single person did this you wouldn't keep getting complaints resolved at director level, they'd all just get forwarded to the main customer service department and dealt with by anyone but probably with something like "head of customer services" at the bottom of each reply just to make it look like it went somewhere important.

I may be doing a Hilary Clinton (misremembering), but isn't the OP involved with the said (inferred) website in some way?

    Absolutely!
OP turns up like a bad penny every now and then spouting his drivel.
Best thing to do is just hit the spam button

You are obviously not a disciple r u ?;):) So let me elaborate, I escalate directly to the CEO and don't bother with customer services beforehand !;)

I got £20 for the same thing without contacting the CEO and I am not an endearing person

I wonder what the OP puts in his emails to the CEO's ?

Also the sums involved do not excite me , if given without a fight .

  • The thing with this method, as has been pointed out to you dozens of times before, and you have wilfully ignored, Marcus, is that if everyone did it, no-one would get anything.

Still, you keep spouting your drivel.
