Hi All,
I don't often post here but I really need some friendly advice right now,
Heres the situation.
Me and my GF have split but we still live together because we have a joint ESA claim, Having spoken to her and DWP at length it appears we can't have solo claims whilst we live together.
Which in turns me I am not currently eligible for Rent Deposit Scheme, to enable me to move out (crazy right)
So I need some help / options, I am working with a Housing Support worker but even she is alittle stuck with what DWP are saying.
Any advice is greatly apperciated
Many Thanks

Nobody can stop either of you making a claim as a single person, just expect them to want to do as many checks as they need to to prove you're not a couple. Are you sleeping in separate rooms, do you cook your own meals, do you have separate bank accounts, socialise separately. the list is not exhaustive but it's up to you to prove it to their satisfaction.."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0
