I checked that Asda have these pizzas on sale for £1.50. I am going to be near Asda tomorrow and got 5 £1.00 off coupons to use valid until 31/07/13. its says "only one coupon can be used against each item purchased". Does anyone know if Asda will allow me to get 6 pizzas and use 6 £1.00 off coupons at the time? Just dont want to get into troubles with Asda.

They let me buy two with two coupons this morning.

There is no reason why they shouldn't, if you are using 6 coupons and buying 6 pizzas, they are being used as each item purchased. If they said one per transaction, that would be different and they could make you go in and out 6 times. :D

I was in there yesterday and bought 4, no questions asked. ;)

I bought four today. Super Bargain.

(freezer edge price was £2.25 or 2 for £4 but I had already checked online, also checked the coupon policy below)

Can I redeem my coupons and vouchers at my local Asda store?
At Asda we accept all manufacturers' coupons (including internet coupons) in line with their terms and conditions. You must buy the product to redeem the coupon.

You can use as many coupons as you like in one transaction as long as each coupon is redeemed against the product specified. If you have multiple coupons for one product, each coupon must be redeemed against only one unit of that product, e.g.

If you have 6 x 10p coupons off Heinz baked beans - you can only use one coupon per can.

The only exception to this rule are coupons that say something different on them e.g:

    "One per customer"
    "One per household"
    "One per transaction"
  • I purchased two pizzas on Friday using those coupons with no problems, 50p each, wonderful!

I printed off the 10 dated and personalised (name & postcode) Dr Oetker money-off vouchers. First one was accepted by Tesco, but 2nd was refused by Asda Southgate, London N14 on the grounds that "they'd been told not to take them". I have rung Dr Oetker's "Customer Response Interface(!)" twice, and each time was promised a reply by e-mail. So far nothing. Third attempt at phoning - recorded message and then phone cuts off.
However Asda head office was brilliant and they phoned the store while I was on hold and was told that if, when I next attempt to use the voucher, I have any trouble - to phone direct to the guy I was speaking to.
I will let you know how I get on.
In the meantime I see that Dr Oetker has just sent me an offer for a free new kind of pizza - doubt whether I can be bothered to print off the voucher that they're supposed to be sending in the light of their appalling customer service. Sad really, because they're in Leeds, like Asda.

So the original problem was with Asda, not Dr Oetker.

The obvious thing to have done was to take it up with Asda. Asda failed you initially (refusing to accept voucher) but probably sorted it. What happens if Asda were to refuse again and the person at HO wasn't at his desk?

And you are now not going to use a Dr Oetker voucher because they, Dr Oetker, weren't able to sort out the problem which wasn't of their making (and you can't prove they didn't attempt to email you).

    Are the pizzas any good?
  • Hmmm. These vouchers dont seem to work on the self service checkout at Sainsburys anymore.

The Sainsburys counter clerk told me that they would not take two printable vouchersthat "looked the same", despite me purchasing two pizzas. So I can only redeem one at a time.

It may just be as well, as man can only eat so much pizza.

Im not very optimistic that I will be able to redeem my 7 (so far) free pizza vouchers dated march 2014....

The dough is a bit bland. Bearable @ 50p BUT I'd rather make my own if had to pay full-price.

The vouchers have the same bar-code BUT have a different serial number.
