graphics slot question

Please can anyone tell me what graphics card slots are available in a Packard Bell ixtreme M5860 Core i5 and also the size of the power supply. Have tried looking online but can't seem to find mention of these details. Will probably need a graphics upgrade but may also have a problem with the small case so need to be sure it's not going to turn into a major headache.
(ps. I don't have the machine or I'd take the side off and have a look myself!)
Many Thanks in advance.

The service manual shows a PCI x16 slot and varying power supplies from 250w upwards:

But i'd still recommend you try to get someone to have a look what is actually inside the specific PC.0 -
Looking at the picture of the system, it looks like a bog-standard Micro-ATX case and has one PCI-E x16 slot.
So basically any modern card will physically fit, however you are only going to run into problems if you're planning on going for one of the really big ones. I can see two potential issues.
1) Power supply. If it really is only 250W then any graphics card that needs a separate power connection is going to be a no-no. Most big graphics cards will state a recommended power supply wattage, with 650W being fairly common for a single card and anything from 800W-1200W for SLI/Crossfire cards.
2) Card length. It looks like that system has a hard drive caddy that may get in the way of a longer card (Page 44 of that PDF), however it's removable so you can just move the hard drive into one of the floppy drive bays if that's an issue, or even into one of the CD bays if you buy a cheap adaptor. I've had to do both of these on my PC and it works fine.0 -
Thank you for taking the time to find that info and for your replies.
Would just need to upgrade the graphics to something semi decent as DS is currently playing WoW on a 10 year old pc with a Radeon HD 5450, so any improvement on that would be more than acceptable!
If anyone has any suggestions I would be really grateful0 -
can a gtx 770 (267mm) fit?0

guess you didnt see the thing about probably only a 250w psu when you suggested a GTX770
anyways due to the power suuply issue (unless you are planning on upgrading that in the process) you should probably be looking at ones that just run of the power from the PCI-E slot
based on this you would probably be looking at something like th AMD R7 250 which is a 65 watt card which is still going to be relativly underpowered but would be a decent improvment from the 5450Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
i'm planning on changing my psu for a seasonic 620w but i'm not quite sure if the gtx 770 will even fit in the case0
