how do i pot roast beef in a slowcooker?

    Normally it's just an inch or so in the bottom of your pot, though as little as a pint will be fine in most.

    The Recipe Thread referred to is our slow cooker one (see below) you'll get the choice to pick from the Index, join at the the start so you can read through, or join at the end to add something (recipe tip or comment) of your own.

    You can find The Slow Cooker Thread in our "Indexed Collections" sticky at the top of the forum listing, or you can follow the clue in my signature any time you see it or...

    ..you can use the Indexed Collections link in the Blue Bar at the top of every page which looks something like this:-
