Save £s on dishwasher tablets.....

Cut them in half! It's that simple..... Unless your dishes have had lasagna or porridge sitting on them for 6 months, you will not notice the difference, even on an eco-wash. Your impact on the environment will be massively reduced and you will save 50% on dishwashing tablets. Suck it and see!

Or better still do it the old fashioned way, cheaper and more environmentally friendly0

I buy dishwasher powder. I can decide exactly how much I want to use depending on how dirty the dishes are. Plus it is a lot cheaper.0

Well I would of thought in many cases washing up not only uses less water but also has most people have gas boilers heating up via gas is cheaper than heating via electric which you dont usually have the choice with a dishwasher as its electric0

And you can buy 24 dishwasher tabs from Poundland for that magic price, they are the same wrapper as Tesco and Asda's own.;)
We could wash our dishes every day, or we could put the dishwasher on every three days.
In my mind it's like the have a shower alone to save on water or share a bath with a friend scenario- one uses less water, but the other can wash more.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Last time I went in Home Bargains were selling 'Gumption' brand dishwasher tablets, 15 for 49p. Seem to work as well as supermarkets own brands.
We don't have Home Bargains up here.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Generally modern dishwashers use less water and energy than hand washing. I can give you the statistics and quotes but I'm too lazy, sorry I mean energy-saving, to go upstairs and get them!
But I will later if anyone really wants me to!Aiming to pay off mortgage by my 30th birthday... £39438 to go!

How can a dishwasher use less energy than hand washing, it has to heat the water up, then also rinse water all that creates energy. Handwashing you heat water up once and thats it, you do the rest of the work. I doubt handwashing uses more water than a dishwasher either0
