What is the purpose of this board? (bankruptcy)

It upsets me too much. I'm paying back every penny I borrowed and read about other people bravely doing the same. I also read about people living very tough lives who don't expect a holiday at someone else's expense.
To those for whom bankruptcy is genuinely the only option, good luck to you. I hope you keep your dignity and humility and recognise who fortunate you are that we have such positive bankruptcy laws, payign as much as you can on an IPA with good grace.
To those who run away from their debts and want the easy option, I hope you find a conscience and a sense of responsibility.
To those who help others abuse the system, I would like to think we reap what we sow and you will get your just desserts from someone, somewhere.
What a nasty person you are!!! What is your problem? You sound incredibly bitter and angry and are just inviting people to mock you! You have NO idea of the personal circumstances of each individual person or persons, and what led up to their bankruptcy, and you have no right sitting there in judgement like some holier-than-thou, high & mighty Lord!
No WONDER your comments were booted off the Bankruptcy Board. Trolling and attacking bankrupts is massively frowned upon.

If people want to try and get some money together, (for a holididay,) to try and put their woes behind them, it's got nothing to do with you. So people don't pay anything back after bankruptcy? So WHAT? That's the idea, to get rid of your debts! Who wants a damn IPA hanging over them for 3 years?
But I don't expect you to respond to this, as you're 'too distraught' at the thought of all these vile and nasty bankrupts getting away with writing off all their debts. :rotfl:
I suggest you get out more/find some hobbies/find some friends etc etc: it sounds like you have too much time on your hands. And as I said, you sound very bitter.
Do you seriously think that people who have gone bankrupt have not worked hard and strived through life like you 'supposedly' have? What a narrow-minded and horribly judgemental attitude. 'Debt Doctor' hit the nail on the head; you sound like a nasty sad bitter twisted individual: assuming ALL bankrupts are slimy pondscum who rack up 1000s in debt and then gleefully write it off, wishing them ill and misfortune for their 'crimes..' Be careful: Karma is a b1tch!
You are either a nasty bitter individual or a troll: not quite sure!
Good for debt doctor, who does their damndest to make sure people do not have an IPA!
Enjoy reading these posts, because I KNOW you will be back and you WILL read them. You will want to see the results of your [STRIKE]trolling[/STRIKE] comments.0 -
People look at things from a different perspective gbot. We cannot impose our moral code on others and nor should we be able to. I have personally chipped away at my debts for years and I am free on 20th June. It has been hard work. It does not give me the right however to look down on others for how they do it.
One last word about perspective. Do you know that if you add two letters to the name of this website you get 'Monkey Shaving Expert'. Just a thought for everyone to digest)

Personally I think EVERY bankrupt or NONE at all should get an IPO. And the amount of the IPO set to zero if your budget doesn't permit it. This seems a fairer way of doing it, rather than just a select few having the IPO hanging over them.
BRs these days do get it easier than once up on a time though, it used to be the case you was discharged much longer than 1 year after declaring. But this isn't necessarily a bad thing - in fact it could if anything encourage entrepreneurship. In fact this was one of the reasons Ltd companies exist.0 -
