Hello there,
I am currently looking into a historical claim of PPI through Sun Bank. I have the mortgage ref number etc.... I have been dealing with the Nationwide with regards to this but don't seem to be making much progress so far- anyone out there been successful?
Thanks
Kate

Sun Bank is a subsidiary of Nationwide. It is today known as Mortgage Works but is a separate trading entity. Putting in a complaint to Nationwide shouldn't work as you were never their customer.
Plus, I believe Sun Bank was a broker lender. So, that changes things as well. Sun Bank became Mortgage Works in 2004. So, that would make it pre-regulation.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
