Hi,
brought a car 4/5, wasnt ready until 10/5 picked it uo 11/5. On 17/5 the power steering failed and the car became unable to drive. Rang the dealership I brought it from there response was oh, bring it on Monday. I stated I've only had it 5 days I need it for work and pre arranged plans, the guy on the other said oh well Monday or Tuesday. Ok said see you Monday, Not very happy with the way he spoke to me or his lack of compassion.
Unable to take car back on Monday due to working full time, took it to them today and the guy was not very helpful at all. I asked him how long it would take to repair, he said "dunno", I remained calm but narked, i expressed my disapointing in the fault and he advise that i shouldnt buy a second hand car. I asked for a refund and he refused, I advised him I am within my rights, Im not happy with the product and would like a refund, all his reponse was " dont do refunds".
I've read some of the information but Im so upset and angry right now non of it makes sense. I paid £495 cash deposit and the rest on debit card
CAB not open till Monday, can he legally refuse to give me a refund within such a short time frame? Non of the paper work states no deposit, I have three months warrenty. The guy was soooo rude he answered the phone three times whilst talking to me and if he was the guy that tried to sell me the car i wouldnt of brought it.
they couldnt give me a curtisy car as non of there "110 cars in stock minimum" have tax! Can any one offer any advise pretty please.
I dont want to be a sterotypical single, young woman whos been ripped off my a car dealer but looks like I have been

These things happen to cars, New or used. Things fail.
If the guy just works there then a complaint to the head office may get you somewhere.
As above. Age of the car, Price and mileage?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
When asking for help it'd be useful to include relevant information - price paid, vehicle make, model and year etc.0
