Hey guys - another thing - if I am indeed writing the appeal for him, should I state that explicitly? Does this work for or against his case?
The beginning of my friend's letters all started the same:
This letter has been composed and typed by my friend, Mrs Scarlett, with my full permission, as, due to my severe arthritis, I am unable to write or type.
I wrote it in the first person, and my friend then signed it. Her writing looks like a spider died on the page, so I expect they were pleased it was typed.
