500 tickets to be won.
J K Rowling will be signing books and reading from the new book. Every winner will also get a copy of the new harry potter book.
Be warned it is a midnight event and she will be signing throughout the night you might get a signing slot for 4 in the morning

That would be a very special prize for a lot of children. I have entered my dd and would make the trip down to London if we won tickets.0

Darn it! I am a Harry Potter fan, and wanted to enter as a family, but there is a lower age limit for the kids. I would feel like a bit of a wally going on my own. Oh well, I will leave it for the kids to enter.0

The age limit of 8 is a strange one, why 8?! why not 7 or 5? Would have to leave daughter (7) at home if we won. Oh well. An opportunity of a lifetime so gotta grab it, just a shame about the age thing.Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T0 -
I'm so tempted to enter this for myself, but I suppose I should leave it for children

She would obviously not be good at swimming if she had been up all night on the saturday/sunday nights.

No it's not the Friday...The author will read from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at the Natural History Museum at midnight on 21 July.
Thats the Saturday.
1 minute past midnight will be Sunday 22nd July. :beer:0 -
Yes it is the Friday night isn't it, to Saturday morning at 7am.?
'The “Event” means the overnight book signing by JK Rowling of copies of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows which will take place at the Natural History Museum in London between 00:01 BST on Saturday 21st July and approximately 07:00 on Saturday 21st July 2007.
