Nationwide's panel,of conveyancing solicitors

I'm currently remortgaging to Nationwide, and understand that the solicitor needs to on their approved panel. Being the weekend, I can't contact our case manager at L&C (who are the brokers) to ask them, so is there a way to find out who is on the panel as I'd like to use our own solicitor (also closed till Monday)
Incidentally, L&C recommend Gordons Property Lawyers, who charge £299 on a house worth £250k and a £95k mortgage, does this seem reasonable?

Thanks.

If you go with the inclusive conveyancing then they will allocate you a solictor - you don't get a choice (not even from their panel).

It sounds like it would be better for you to take the cashback and arrange the solictor yourself.

We were in a similar situation with Nationwide the other week. We have a trusted conveyancer we wanted to use but it would cost approx £250 more than using the Nationwide deal. Although they were on the panel we wouldn't be guarunteed that we would get them, so we decided to go with our own and take up the offer of the £250 cash back instead.

It's more expensive but we're happy with it. The Nationwide mortgage broker herself stated that if you have someone you're happy with then it's probably best to use the cash back deal, although everyone's situation is different.
