Anyone figured out how to keep the previous version of Facebook?
There was a message when I logged in just now saying if you don't like the new format you can keep what you were used to, but I can't find how to do that.
I HATE it when web sites impose THEIR preferences on you.
No wonder over a million have stopped using FB in the UK.
Help please.:o

Unfortunalty even if you reverted back it would only be temporary and change eventually when FB decided to stop support for the old style.0 -

FB will stick with this as they can make their adverts "Top Story" so they always appear at the top of your newsfeed.
But if you really don't like it, there's always Google + :rotfl:0 -
Surely you just click to change from top story first to newest first. What goes around - comes around0

Facebook is worth every penny you pay for it.
They do what they like, and all you can do is like it or lump it...but really...don't stress over things in life that aren't important. Facebook isn't important.0 -
Don't know if this is what you want. It is for Chrome but there's also a version for Firefox

At the end of the day, you're using their service for free, and whilst their changes are normally annoying in that they make adverts more prominent; the service has to be paid for somehow.
Personally, I quite like the latest round of changes and actually think they make things a lot cleaner. But each to their own. Give it a chance, you never know.0 -
