I've been driving for 20 years and up to recently (2 years) as a named driver on my partners policy as I have a motorcycle. I drive company vehicles on a weekly basis.
I have 7 years NCD on my bike policy. I've just bought a car for myself with the view of selling my bike. When taking out insurance for my new car, can I use my 7 years NCD for the car??

Most insurers won't allow car and bike NCD to be interchanged. You may get an introductory discount though for having the use of a company vehicle.
If your partners insurance is Direct Line they give NCD to named drivers.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0 -
