income threshold for housing association?

Hi everyone, first post on here although been an avid reader for a while now! I have finally found a house exchange from my Guinness Trust HA property to a local council one. Looking at the most likely reasons for refusal of the exchange one of them is that, as the HA is a charity they can refuse the incoming tenant on the basis that their income is too high and doesn't meet their charitable aims.
Does anyone have any idea what the income threshold for Guinness Trust is? I've phoned them and they are going to get someone to call me next week as the person who answered the phone didn't know what I meant. I'm being impatient as really hope this move goes through!
Any help would be gratefully received.

Sorry I can't help, but I'm a little confused by the question. You said you're going from the Guinness Trust property to a council one, is that right? So why does it make a difference to you what the income threshold is for their new tenant?0

Oops
Sorry I missed that bit.
Seems odd that they couldn't tell you straight away what the tenant criteria are, if it's something that might lead to them refusing a new tenant. I've never dealt with a HA before though. Sorry I can't be any help.0
