santander - PRAISE!!!!

I recently got a 0% balance transfer offer from santander, so I took them up on it, to the tune of over £1600. My direct debit just came out for the full amount! As you can imagine I was having kittens! Especially as I am weekly paid at the moment so there was nowhere near enough there, just a large arranged overdraft.
I called them on the freephone number (thanks MSE for teaching me about the say no to 0870 site
) and the lovely lady couldn't have been more helpful. She explained that the dd indemnity even covers my stupidity, and she changed my dd to minimum payment so I don't have to remember to do it myself! She put me through to the banking helpline (yes, I have a 123 account - no problems with that in over a year either) and they recalled the dd and sent a bill payment for the minimum amount to the credit card for me, so there will be no loss of the 0% rate either.
Lesson learned, and thanks Santander, I don't care what others say about you, right this second, I LOVE you!!! :A:beer:

Fine, but I wouldn't go to KFC again if you paid me.0

I'm not sure it does.
It covers mistakes made by your bank and the company requesting the payment.
However, good result. :rotfl:
I've been with Santander since the beginning of 2012. No problems at all, despite all the horror stories.0
