Skype? Any other VOIP provider or calling Card supplier will offer you 1p/min.0

Use one of the over-ride providers eg 18185, Superline, etc0

Over-riders can be used with Virgin cable. Only difference is that you have a different access number to dial.
I've used 18185 for several years and am now using Superline on our phone.
If you look at 18185's website you will see details of costs. Virgin make no charge for this.0 -
18185 via there 0808 freephone access number http://www.18185.co.uk/index2.php?tariffnotice=on
or if you have inclusive minutes www.calldiscount.com at no extra charge via there 0161 number.0 -
If you have skype and the person who does at the other end its free!!0

Had a quick browse, try http://aloha-connect.com/. 0.4p/min to USA.
As said above Override codes don't work from Virgin lines. Or Skype... I think its a few pound a month for unlimited calls to USA but quality depends on your internet connection.0 -

Why would someone want to use that service which requires you to call a geographical number when their is one mentioned above that raises no extra charges ?
Its only Indirect Access Codes eg 1899 that dont work on VM.( Only BT has to allow access to them). Other access codes work fine.0
