Parking eye are watching this Forum!!!

Hello,
I am writing to you to warn you that Parking eye are watching this very forum and are even using people's post's here against them in court.
Today I heard of a case where parking eye have taken screen shots and sent them as part of their defence.

These people are scum and will stoop down as low as they can to steal your money.

Can they legally use forum posts as evidence in court? I haven't heard of it before but they are certainly trying! Thoughts?

    Old news I'm afraid.

There is no low they will not stoop to

  • Yes it is common knowledge that parking eye (hey Rachel) watch these forums like a hawk.

That's why people are advised not to post up identifying details on here.

Rachel when will you have the guts to come on this forum

When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

  • The case hasn't gone to court yet but is very soon. They are using screenshots of conversations on this forum and even saying that the person followed the advice of others to ignore Parking eye letters.
The person that posted here is pretty annoyed by this and is unsure what to do. Is there a good chance he/she will lose the case now? Can they use legally use this as evidence? What should they do? Just wait and see?

I have an ongoing barmy with PE but them watching this won't help their cause provided the motorist or keeper knows the score.

Martin Lewis is not a fugitive, the forum is not illegal, and the information being posted (in response to worried motorists) is pursuant to legislation. MSE 1, ParkingEye NIL.
  • Stroma what exactly did Pe print out?

  • So there is no danger that the court could use the post's as evidence? And as they are taking this to court should the person that posted be worried they could still lose or just see it out?

Can't see it. PE recently sent me a fake invoice which I took to POPLA only for the latter to side with the pigs at PE. It is not as if screenshots of MSE discussions can turn a false penalty into a genuine pre-estimate of loss.
