Alliance and Leicester PPI

I have recently found all the documents for a loan, I took out with my husband in 2001 for 5 years. We split up in 2002 and I took over the loan and full payments. Can I claim or is it too late?

This isn't a straight forward claim if I can

1. Alliance and Leicester have been taken over by Santander. Who do I write to?

2. How do I claim PPI from this? as it changed from two people to one but it appears the PPI payments didn't reduce.

3. I have consider approaching a claims back firm but don't know where to start.

I feel like a rabbit in the headlights Help.

You write to santander but if it was a joint loan, you wil need both signatures on the complaint.

don't bother with a complaints firm, they are rubbish and will not do anything more than you will.
you need the account number, and a good complaint reason.

you don't need to ask for your credit agreement or send a SAR if you already have the account number.

You can still complain. time is an issue as documents do get destroyed over time. However, if they still exist, it should be ok.

    Santander.

You put in a complaint signed by both of you. If the complaint is successful, then the money would be shared between you.

They add no value. They ask you to supply the information and then put a stamp on the envelope.
