Thank you, I've just brought DD a mini greehouse and a few bits and bobs as part of he bday present, - I'm right by Wilko's on Tuesday.... unless I come across one 2mor (going away for weekend) xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Today I have ordered a some things from amazon for ds1, some off Disney store for ds2 and reserved a load of toys from argos to take advantage of their 3 for 2 offer.
The kids are going to my in laws tomoro so I will walk upto argos in morning to collect them and hopefully I'll be Able to walk back without resorting to a taxi (its unlikely as its a 30minute walk each way ANSI have ordered a lot! But well see)
This means ds1 is just about done :T will just pick up little stocking fillers as and when I see something he'll like and some bit so get for his xmas eve hamper!
We have decided to go craft crazy for dd this year. She doesn't really play with toys, she never has. But give her something crafty and she's in her element!
So this year we are getting her sewing machine with a desk so it can be ready to use as and when she wants to. We are filling her a set of them plastic 4drawers thingys we rafting goodies; fabrics, glues, stickers, embellishments, paints, felts, papers, pens etc etc etc. so she should have the supplies for anything she wishes to! I'm picking things up as I see them.
She's only 5 but she plans to open her own shop when she's older selling her homemade lovelies:T she's already found her shop premises (shell buy the current traders out lol) and designed the signage :rotfl:
We are still trying to come up with ideas for ds2, he plays with ds1s toys more than his own so its hard to know what to get him! He is getting a drum kit though and the vetch gadget the robot. These are his main presentsMummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0 -
most of the succulents I took bits off are rooting - which is great - got some reduced teracotta pots from wilko's and am going to paint them white and put vintage ribbon around them, with wooden snowflakes - I swap plants with some of my friends/family for christmas, as we all love them and they are pricey.
so that's 4 more presents sorted.
dd found the bag with her christmas pj's in - argghh (although she knows they come from me), forget that they can climb higher each year!:AA/give up smoking (done)0 -
I have made these:
for my "leaving present" for my colleagues. The pic isn't great but it's basically 3 plastic shot glasses with a marshmallow in the bottom, topped with mini Oreo cookies/haribo tangfastics/rowntrees randoms and wrapped in cellophane wrap with a mini chuppa chup lolly stuck in the top.
18 cost me: £9 for the sweets, £4 for the rainbow shot glasses (A$DA) and £1 for the cellophane (L!dl last Xmas) = £14 (77p each)“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. TappingI'm finding my way back to sanity again... but I don't really know what I'm gonna do when I get there~ LifehouseWhat’s fur ye will make go by ye… but also what’s not fur ye, ye can jist scroll on by!0 -

Have you looked in home bargains for craft stuff? They have loads of amazing stuff and it's all pretty cheap too!September Grocery Challenge £0/£2250 -
I'm on an October deadline for several gifts this year, as that's when I can send them back when my parents leave- I need to do my parents' and my brother/ SIL/ nephew by then.
The men have pocket handwarmers made from an old tee shirt and some value rice :rotfl: (they work outside a lot so I thought their fingers could get warmed up quicker if they have these to hand) and I need to re-cover a notebook or three for Mum. No idea what to do for the baby and SIL but I may try to make a stocking and fill it.
I have, however, made some little decorations, of which I am inordinately proud
So go me! I'm getting there...They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.0 -
They are lovely! Might have to see if any charity shops have an old scrabble game so I can pinch your idea...Bossymoo
