Just looked at my weekend sports schedule for the season. No Saturday off until 28th December!
That's Christmas shopping sorted then!0 -
Loving this thread, last years xmas was a disaster, dad in hospital due to an accident which wasn't his fault and all my Ds's were ill in bed. Surprisingly this year I am going to have a full on xmas. I starts after my hols,(which is in august). I buy three items each week with my food shopping that goes away for xmas. Am saving with tescos clubcard and am determined to have everything done by the 1st dec, so I can sit back and enjoy it.
As for the Robinsons mincemeat, I have checked and double checked at my local Tesco's but couldn't find any.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.000 -

Morning all,
I'm going to wrap my first Christmas presents today. I've bought pjs for my son and DIL in Australia and a sparkly outfit for our new granddaughter due in Otctober.:D
They will go in the box with all the baby gifts I've made or bought along with the Christmas pressies and then I will post them by ship to save quite a bit on Postage. If I post them before July they should be there for October and the Christmas gifts will go away until the big day.
Last night I helped mum order her Christmas gifts for Australia. She bought everything in the Asos summer sale and its free delivery. She will then also ship a box to Australia. It's difficult with having close family over there but I'm determined to be organised and reduce costs this year.
Once that's posted I will concentrate on my gifts for here. I'm also planning a stocking for each of us for Christmas Eve, its never too late to start a new tradition. My older three have left home so we only have our youngest boy who is 17 but I'm thinking pjs and smelliest for him and my hubby and maybe some chocolates treats. The Christmas DVD is an excellent idea. Oops just remembered my dd will be here as well so better do one for her.
We also really need some new decorations this year so will be looking out for some reduced ones.
Enough Christmas waffle, I better go and make the most of the sunshine, but oh I love Christmas:DStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Bought a Christmas board book and a couple of Christmas DVDs at carboot this weekend for pennies. Also got a lovely Christmas tray. We might keep this or might use it as a base for a tea lovers hamper? Going with the hampers theme for adults this year I think. Cash for teens / older kids. Won't go mad for my DS and new baby son as they'll get loads from Aunts/ uncles/ grandparents etc. There were loads of decorations for sale too but decided we have nowhere to store them at the moment. And car was full of new baby stuff etc.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

sorry to be cheeky, just noticed your doing a tea lovers hamper, - when I was in Home bargains today they had tea towels "carry on and keep calm", I brought one with drink wine, and another drink tea, - they were 99p each but have a £5 price tag on them!
Trays - poundland have some lovely trays at the mo, I got some cupcake ones but there were other themes as well, xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

I am not a huge fan of Christmas, i either spend it with my parents and or my sisters, or have to wait for my dear sisters to come home ( they work in both here in Scotland and one in England) or I might have to go to my partners with his family.
I find this difficult but I am going to be prepared this christmas. Already bought my other half his present today. so looking forward to reading all the tips and hints on here to get thru the rest of it
Cheers
