Hi,
My friend (a bit dippy) bought a Hoover vacuum cleaner from Argos last September. It didn't work very well and she didn't use it much and recently discovered that the two filters it uses were not fitted into the appliance. This is why the appliance is not working very well.
The filters are not in the packaging box. Recently, she contacted Hoover who say that it's too late to report the fault and that she will have to buy a set of filters - cost £16.
The cleaner cost £99.99 and was paid for with a Visa credit card.
Does she have any redress with Hoover, Argos or the credit card company ?
Any advice gratefully received.
Cheers - Joe

Unlikely.
Not after 8 months. She would need to prove the item didn't conform to contract, which seems impossible in this case.0 -
Good luck convincing them after nearly a year!0
