Reclaiming CC charges?

Options
Getting desperate now :D

I have had my cards for years and obviously now the accounts are all cancelled due to my reduced payments, so I have nothing to lose by trying to claim any charges back. I've read a little but not much

Is there any kind of template letter floating around? Is it worth me trying?

It may be helpful to look at this thread instead as I am sure people have posted lots of advice - The Reclaim Bank & Credit Card Charges Board

    There's so many pages

As I have no idea what charges I may have had etc etc, can I just write a standard letter? I read somewhere that there's a £10 fee for getting a list of charges from the relevant companies

Is that the subject access request letter for a fee of £10 where they have to provide all the data held on you, I am presuming they would have to send statements to you as part of that.

Have you checked out this thread as it seems to be the help thread and where to get started

These threads are from 2006, can you still make a claim for a credit card that you paid charges on? i paid mine off last January? worth the time to look into this or a waste of time?
