I opened a bank of scotland cardcash account 11 years ago. Is this the same as their cash account they currently advertise? Can I open one even though I already have cardcash?

They are the same as they no longer offer cardcash accounts its been replaced with the Cash account as they use the LLoyds TSB system of accounts now.
The cash account visa debit card is restricted to HBOS cash machines meaning you can't use it in any other cash machine that isn't a HBOS one.
If you have had the cardcash one for 11 years, why not give them a call and see if they can upgrade it to a Classic Account. This will be a normal current account and will let you use any cash machine.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:0
