Need some help

Seen a property I wanna rent £90 a week with no bills. Internet £20 have to pay additional £20 for router one off: all other bills pay as you go. That a good way to pay? Seems good if I go away or something

You mean £90 per week not including bills? Internet £20, what, per week???

Other bills pay as you go - I take this to mean that you just pay them when you get them, not that you get 2 weeks off if you go off on holiday, although if the gas/leccy are pre-pay meters you obviously won't need to put money in if you are not there.

Whether its a good deal or not depends where you are in the country, some areas are more expensive than others.

Is it a shared place? Very difficult to calculate a reduced (not zero!) share of bills if you're away if so. It gets far too petty that way. And you'll have to pay for internet/phone line, water rates and heating during the winter regardless.

I think Iunderstand your question! Are you saying is a prepay meter a good method of payment for utilities?

If this is your question then I think it's good if it suits your lifestyle. It used to be that it was more expensive than bill payment but I believe recent legislation has changed this and costs are now similar.

I think you generally pay more per unit of gas / electricity on a prepay meter, so it's more expensive. However, it does mean that you keep control over how much you are spending, and won't get a nasty surprise each time the gas bill lands on the doormat.
