Hi

I have a panasonic flatscreen telly that I've had for about two years and I use freesat

the only red button on my remote is the text button but that doesn't give the red button facilities

am I doing something wrong here?

You should have red,green,yellow and blue buttons in a row. What model is it.

yes I have them 4 buttons but pressing the red button only brings the text up...I think I might be doing something dim here

it is a Panasonic TX-P42G10B

You'd need to use the red button on the freesat remote not the telly remote. All the telly services etc are being provided by the freesat box, not the TV's inbuilt tuner.

ps I don't have a freesat box...it's built in

Ah my bad, yeah your tv has built in freesat, missed that bit on the spec. So yeah you will just have the tv remote. So I'm out of ideas lol.

The text facility is the red button facility though. It gives you access to all the extra information.

I wanted to watch a concert just now radio 2 on the red button but it just brings up text..ie lottery new, sport, etc

Doesn't fix your issue, but the R2 concerts can be caught on iplayer for 7 days.

Is the TV on a BBC channel when you press the red button?
