Post Office Travel Money Card

Hello,

I am going away to LAs Vegas in September and am wanting to get some money changed over now while the exchange rate is so good. I will be taking a lot of cash and obvisouly dont want to be carrying it around with me. I have seen on the post office webiste and seen that they do money travel cards. Has anyone used them? Do they charge for withdrawing the cash? or is it better just getting the cash?

Cheers

Neil

The post office card is similar to the AMEX travellers cheque card, these cards charge for withdrawls.

The best option is to open a Nationwide Account and get one of their debit cards, there are a few threads regarding using the card abroad, do a search for and you will get them all
