Any help finding lost person?

Salvation Army can't help. Does anyone know if People Tracers I have seen on the internet are reputable, expensive, reliable, trustworthy etc. Has anyone any experience of using their services? I have come to a brick wall using various 'tracing' sites on the internet. I even sent off for a birth certificate but it turned out to have no connection to the sought person.0

I shouldn't have used capital letters for people tracers. I meant these sort of tracers in general, no one in particular.0

Cacti,
People tracers will charge you for their service. Are they reputable I cannot comment as I havent used them. Obtaining birth certs etc wont help you locate the person today other than give you other family members. If you wish to Private message me the name and what you do know I can have a dig about for you. 30 years as a genealogist and a good number as a probate researcher I may be able to have a dig about for you
