Is this the best way??

Hi

After doing some research on the site I have decided to put my money in the following accounts.

£3000.00 Direct ISA – NS&I 6.05%
£3000.00 previous year ISA to Northern Rock 6.01% issue 50
£500.00 per month Yorkshire 7.00% regular saving
£5000.00 ICIC 6.05%

It would be much appreciated that some of the experts here can give me some advice. Have I put the money into the suitable account to get the maximum interest?

I also may have £2000.00 that I want to invest instead of putting away in savings account, can someone advice me how show I start?

Thanks
