Computer keeps turning itself off

Hi

I hope someone can help me with this problem as I am getting a bit worried about it. I have just started getting this problem with my computer recently. It usually happens when I am online and either it disconnects from AOL and then tries to reconnect or windows closes down completley and restarts itself and comes up with the message "the system has recovered from a serious error". Is this some sort of virus or something? I have Norton Internet Security and Norton Anti Virus Software on the system.

Also when I first log on I get the message "you or a programme has requested information from download.statblaster.com" What is this? I have Adaware and Spyware blaster and they both say that the system is ok.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The link you gave me really helped. It seems to have stopped the statblaster thing trying to log me on to the internet all the time.

Fingers crossed that it has sorted out the problem of throwing me out of windows too!
